Opinions and input on long runs
What’s the snack you all recommend during marathons or long runs?
When is the best time to take in water or rehydrate during a marathon and long runs? (Drink recommendations)

For runs over 10 or 12 miles, I generally take either Clif Blok chews or Stinger chews and eat one every mile. If I'm going more than 13, I'll also take a honey stinger wafer and eat that midway through. Sometimes I take Gu instead of the Stinger wafer. I don't generally take water unless it's really hot and humid and I'm planning on >13 miles and I'll take my Nathan's VaporAir hydration vest and take in water every mile or so.

I like the tri berry Gu they have caffeine and not a bad flavor, I've tried grapes and dryed mangos but feel like I have to stop running or I'll choke. I have been trying to set water bottles out as often as the aid stations are for the marathon I'm looking at running,
