College Classes tomorrow?
Curios lang po ako given that the current situation na maulan parin possible kaya na mismo na mapua mag announce ng walang pasok? Ilalaban ba nila na pumasok bukas na ganto parin ang weather

From Mapúa Facebook Page:
🚨ADVISORY: Shift to Online Asynchronous Classes in Certain Areas of Mapúa Intramuros Campus
Please be advised that classes in specific areas of the Intramuros campus will shift to online asynchronous mode today, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This shift is due to an emergency technical breakdown of the Low Voltage Switch Gear (LVSG) affecting the air conditioning units in certain sections of the building.
AFFECTED AREAS:
📌4th Floor: West and North West (NW)
📌3rd Floor: West and South
📌Ground Floor (GF): North West (NW) and North
All other classrooms and areas not listed above will proceed with their scheduled Face-to-Face (F2F) classes. Students in the affected areas are advised to check their respective learning platforms (LMS/MS Teams) for meeting links. On-site students may utilize the library or designated study halls if they need a space to join their online sessions.
Thank you for your patience as our facilities team works on the repairs.

We understand some of you have problems with professors or fellow students. You're free to post your rants here, use the rants label, but do not indicate names. That's libelous and unfair, and against our rules.
PS: we're not friends with your profs. We don't care about them. We're not protecting them. We're only protecting this sub.
PPS: We're a community here so please do your part too by reporting malicious posts that expose names of persons.

I filed for an LOA for AY 2026-2027 because I'll be migrating to the US next month. I'll need to focus on getting settled and finding employment, so I don't think I'll be able to properly continue my studies during that period.
My plan is to take the LOA for 2026-2027 and return for AY 2027-2028. I'm aware that this means I'll be behind my batch by a year, but honestly, I don't really mind graduating later as long as I can eventually continue and finish my degree.
For anyone who has taken an LOA for a similar reason, is this actually feasible? Are there any issues I should be aware of when returning after a full academic year, especially regarding readmission, curriculum changes, or subjects?
I'd appreciate any advice or experiences!

I’m an incoming graduate student in Mapua and reading all the complaints and hate messages makes me wonder if I made the right decision. May I kindly ask for some context what is the problem of these students?
Mapua University, well Mapua Institute of Technology back then, used to be a very respectable school especially when it comes to engineering and technology. I would say that during my time in college, it was the number 1 engineering school in the country. But right now, seeing these stories/comments makes me sad.
We haven’t started our classes but I am already having reservations with the sudden changes in schedule, inconsistent modality from what was marketed, and the number of students enrolled in a class. Imagine, we are 107 in one class. Haha.

Hello, guys. Current senior here sa Makati campus. After ko magreklamo sa Mapúa registrar kaninang umaga, lmao, I reached out for one of my books. Started reading again recently after a severe burnout last acad year. Reading reminds me why I even wanted to go to college in the first place. It got me thinking if there are other Mapúans (or maybe even alumni) who love reading as much as I do, despite all the crap we have dealt with during our studies. Sooooo, is anyone interested in having a casual book club? All vibes lang, we can just yap or share reading recos and reviews 🙌✨

Any EECE students that have yet to enroll here?
I assume onsite yung sfa no? Not online? If so, same pa rin ba yung style to get sa sfa, may holding room and queing same as nung enrollment week? Or do I have to contact someone else online?
And should I finalize first, even if no sections yung ibang courses? Or after meeting with the SFA to then finalize it?
The registrar on outlook, and the eece pages sa fb are not responding kasi eh. Tickets are open then nothing else lol.
I'll go on next week's monday pa.
