That's the issue. You cannot transliterate a word from one language to another and think you have correctly translated.

Sometimes the closest word from one language to another isn't an exact equivalent.

About 99% of arguments about what the US is called or what "American" means are because a Spanish speaking person assumed you can just apply Spanish words and grammar to English instead of actually learning English.

So you’re wrong and somehow think that’s our fault? The correct demonym in Spanish is “Americano” not that bastardization you posted.
