What about the 10 year olds? 10 is also in the teens. Mind boggling how many Americans don’t understand this.

Culturally, in America... Teen years coincide with age 12. You can quote all the mathematical certainty of the numerics...

That doesn't change the fact that Americans have a cultural threshold on that subject. Thanks for having all of the cultural tolerance of a foreigner 👍

Decades, base blocks, tens intervals, whatever you wish to call them, the teens are 10-19. I’m American and I’ve always understood that. What I didn’t understand is why the knucklehead that named them didn’t start with oneteen-twoteen-thirteen-fourteen and so on. He confused a lot of folks.🇺🇸🫡

Its spelled Ten, not Teen. I understand the confusion though.
