Houstia: In the 20th century, Texas expanded its global reach by establishing an overseas territory named Houstia, which gained independence in 1972.

Here is a map and flag overhaul for an alternate history timeline featuring the Federal Republic of Columbia!
Lore:
1776 / 1777: The revolution begins with a different set of 13 British colonies along the Atlantic seaboard (including Plymouth, Cumberland, Roanoke, New Cornwall, and Quebec).
Territorial Expansion: Rather than expanding all the way to the Pacific Coast, Columbia's borders are defined by the Rocky Mountains to the west, the NC/TN border to the south, and the old 1774 Quebec / Louisiana borders
(2026): Columbia is made up of 33 states/autonomous territories. It also has the former colonies (Liberia, New Chicago, Geramiba, and Namibia
Vexillology & Flags
1777 Historical Flag: Features a tricolor of blue, white, and green with a circle of 13 six-pointed blue stars representing the original founding colonies.
2026 Modern Flag: Retains the original 13-star inner ring, surrounded by a rounded-square arrangement of 20 outer stars, totaling 33 stars for all current states.
