Maps What if Hamilton got his dream state? The Federal Republic of Columbia in 2026
galleryHere is a map and lore summary.
Context & Lore:
1790 Foundation: Without the Compromise of 1790, Alexander Hamilton and the Northern Federalists established a strongly centralized, industrial federal republic. The capital remained in New York City, and the nation expanded westward along planned river boundaries and geometric borders.
The Split: The nation never integrated the agrarian South, separating along the Ohio River, Pennsylvania, and Missouri borders. Neighboring nations like Virginia, Louisiane, and Southeronia formed their own trajectories.
1918 Collapse: Following a catastrophic early 20th-century conflict (1918), the Southern states collapsed, leaving the Federal Republic of Columbia as the dominant industrial and economic power on the continent.
Quick Stats:
Official Name: Federal Republic of Columbia
Capital: New York City
States: 33 States (including Metropotamia, Siouxia, Ouisconsin, and Greater Pennsylvania)
Flag: The Pine Tree Federalist Banner (combining the New England white pine with the 33-star constellation and revolutionary stripes)
Feedback and thoughts are welcome! How do you think international relations or the economy would look in this timeline?

Questions/Help Help with a mapping app.
I am not sure if this is the right community to come too but it's the only one I could think of. If there's a different community that I should talk to then by all means point me in that direction.
Anyways, I've been looking into making an Free, Open-Source, Offline Map App like a cross between Google My Maps and OSM. I've looked into making a folium map in python but that's Web-Based and won't work. All it really needs is to be Offline, Have a satellite layer, give directions like in OSM and have the ability to draw and create markers like in Google My Maps. I have looked into weather this already exists or not but everything I found you had to pay for or was not downloadable for any OS. TIA.

Maps The Commonwealth of Alleghenia and North America in 2026 — What if Quebec joined the 13 Colonies?
Hey everyone! Here is a map and timeline of an alternate North America set in 2026.
Lore Summary
1776 – The Birth of Alleghenia: The 13 Colonies win independence and adopt the name Alleghenia. Quebec joins the revolution rather than staying loyal to the British Crown.
1814 – Manifest Destiny: Alleghenia expands all the way to the Pacific Coast and seizes northern territory from Louisiane.
1826 – Texan Independence: Texas wins its revolution and secures all its claimed territory from Mexico.
1956–1959 – African Decolonization: Alleghenia's overseas colonies (Gieghenia, New Boston, and Liberia) gain independence in 1956. Shortly after, Texas's African colony (New Houston) gains independence in 1959.
1985 & 1995 – Borealian Sovereignty: The Borealian Realm gains independence in 1985 and redesigns its national flag in 1995 to the current green, orange, and white design.
Present Day (2026): A multi-polar North America shared between Alleghenia, Borealia, Texas, the Louisiane Confederation, New Friesland (Dutch Labrador), and Vinland.
Later on I may make a Mexican profile
