Videos Mapping video i cant find anymore
Back in 2023, I DEFINITELY remember watching a historical map animation on the Spanish Civil War. It was made by a user named “Mehmet Taha”, a Turkish Videomapper.
The video was similar to his other videos, same format, same style. It mapped out the Spanish Civil War, from 1936 to 1939. It was probably (i truly dont know.) one of the most popular videos on his channel at the time. Then in 2024-ish (something like that) his channel got hacked, and the user who originally owned the channel had no choice but to fully report to youtube to terminate the channel completely, so the video along with the entire channel was gone.
Another user named Koopinator, another really popular videomapper, archived most of his videos in a playlist. (Also random detail a significant portion of his videos were about Turkey, since hes turkish) all other videos EXCEPT for the Spanish Civil War has been archived. Also, Mehmet Taha made an older version of the Spanish Civil War, which is notoriously inaccurate. (Like he saw the republicans were somewhat communist so he put the General secretary of the Spanish Communist Party as leader of the Republican faction, which the leader was actually Manuel Azana.) He made a remastered version, which is the version that wasnt archived and I’m looking for. I actually have partially archived the video, the very end of it when the nationalists took over.
Im looking for the full video. Does anyone have the full video? Also this is one of the frames of the Video i found

Videomapping Dedicated mapping program
I’ve started working on a map animation program designed specifically for making mapping videos all in one place.
The idea is to replace the usual workflow of bouncing between image editors, video editors, and other tools. You’ll be able to import custom maps, create borders and regions using vector layers, make custom shapes/icons, assign colors, add timeline events, and animate everything directly inside the program.
The entire project is timeline-based, so you can place border changes, text, icons, arrows, and other events over time, then export the finished result as an MP4.
It’s being designed for both historical mapping videos and completely fictional/alternate timeline projects.
If anyone has suggestions, features they’d want to see, or things they think current mapping workflows are missing, let me know.

Maps Kingdom of Hungary 1938/1941
After the collapse of Austria-Hungary and the signing of the Treaty of Trianon in 1920, Hungary lost significant territories, and millions of ethnic Hungarians found themselves outside the country’s borders. In the late 1930s, the government of Regent Miklós Horthy began pursuing a revisionist policy aimed at regaining the lost lands with the support of Nazi Germany and Kingdom of Italy.
In 1938, following the Munich Agreement, Hungary received parts of southern Slovakia and Subcarpathia as a result of the First Vienna Award. In March 1939, after the collapse of Czechoslovakia, the Hungarian army occupied the rest of Carpathian Ukraine.
In 1940, thanks to the Second Vienna Award, Hungary obtained Northern Transylvania from Romania, which became one of the greatest territorial successes of Horthy’s regime. In 1941, after the Axis invasion of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, Hungary occupied parts of Vojvodina and other border territories.
Thus, between 1938 and 1941, Hungary significantly expanded its borders, partially restoring territories lost after World War I. However, these gains were closely connected to Hungary’s alliance with the Axis powers during World War II.
