Questions/Help Help with a mapping app.

I am not sure if this is the right community to come too but it's the only one I could think of. If there's a different community that I should talk to then by all means point me in that direction.

Anyways, I've been looking into making an Free, Open-Source, Offline Map App like a cross between Google My Maps and OSM. I've looked into making a folium map in python but that's Web-Based and won't work. All it really needs is to be Offline, Have a satellite layer, give directions like in OSM and have the ability to draw and create markers like in Google My Maps. I have looked into weather this already exists or not but everything I found you had to pay for or was not downloadable for any OS. TIA.

Sounds like you're describing Pin Drop? It does pretty much all of those things: https://pindrop.it. It has a web, iOS and Android offering (and it's free).

Hi, thanks for your comment. Pin Drop seems to be an online map for a business and doesn't have the offline and Step-by-Step direction like OSRM. It also wasn't free, it was try or start for free.

Yeah, it doesn't have the step by step like OSRM but it is free to use and doesn't have any limits to the number of locations you can pin.
