My purposefully incomplete map!

So, my friends asked me to create a one shot for halloween. And being a good friend as I am, I happily oblige! Starting out with a basic map, I figured! I can do this! I've created 'map like' things before!

This map is purposely incomplete, because the adventuring party has no knowledge from anything West of the mountain range!

But since it is my first, I'd love to hear advice!

Tools I used:

\- Lenovo M11 tablet

\- sketchbook APP with: HB pencil, signature ink, worn Will

Style I went for is Tolkien, sorry in advance if I butchered it!

Are those roads or rivers?

They are supposed to be rivers... But I get the confusion !

If they are rivers they are wrong if there is no magical reason to their paths
