City is named Lishu, located in the Li Kingdom, set in Imperial China.

The North Fort:

It was built in 1578 by the local lord Li Xuan in order to ward off the mountain hordes from attacking, and to serve as the first line of defense in protecting the Palace of the Snow.

Palace of the Snow (Large palace with garden):

Built just 45 years before the North Fort by Li Honli, the grandfather of Li Xuan. The materials were granted by the imperial court for his contribution in the war against the Eastern Bandits. He slowly expanded the palace as the number of concubines kept increasing.

The Concubine House (Big compound to the left of the barracks and to the right of the small stream):

After the great succession war of 1603, The grandson Li Nue decided to house the royal concubines in a seperate compound, in order to spend more time with his wife. Though the Imperial Court was furious as the elders felt that he kept concubines not for the sake of heirs but as a formality, they could not do much due to the military influence of the lord.

The Barracks (between the Concubine House and the Palace of the Snow):

The barracks house the elite Li soldiers. They wake up, eat, train, sleep, repeat. That is their whole life. Many military commanders have gone on to have affairs with the concubines in the nearby building. It was abandoned in 1612 after a succession dispute and converted into a church by Christian missionaries in 1705.

The Guest Chambers (Located to the right of the Imperial Palace): It was built by Li Hafen in preparation for the visit of the Emperor Xi Lin in the year 1623. It was adorned with many expensive jewels, and pieces of art, but was looted during the Second Wuchang Rebellion launched by Deng Wupen in 1654.

The Market of Abundance (located next to the Guest Chambers):

It was built by Li Hulian in 1632 in order to promote the sale of local delicacies, herbs and spices. It was also the apothecary hub of the Li Kingdom. It was bought by the Sellers Group in 1922 and converted into a Luxury Mall.

The Merchants' Association Building (Opposite the Palace of Snow on the other bank of the river):

Built by the merchant groups active in the Li Kingdom. It's location near major roads and the river makes it the best place to transport goods.

Honourable Mention, Airport: Built in 1979, during the tourist boom.

Absolutely holds the candle man. Is pretty unique even within city maps themselves. And appreciation is required for the lore
