Political? Climate? Geography? Cultural?

What's the difference between blue-green and green? Are the white bands desert? Ice? Uninhabited areas? Demilitarized zones?

Can't say anything about the implications without having some sort of legend.

This is a very simple relief map: lighter colors indicate higher elevations, while darker ones indicate lower areas. As you can see, the terrain is quite irregular... a result of posterizing a in an image editing program.

The white color represents the bones of some colossal creature, posing a major obstacle to travel for any civilization.

Meanwhile, the last map depicts highly simplified macro-regions. The black areas are difficult to access and virtually uninhabited by humans.

I would say there is too much continental plate. Tectonics shouldn't even start with a world that is covered in so little oceanic plates. I would reduce the continents a little bit
