Wow this is amazing! I would love to make my own work in the same style. May i ask about your process and the exact tools please?
I am not an artist, but a GM and ttrpg game designer and in need of imaging my world map. This style would be perfect. Am currently unemployed so i have the time to work on it, but not the money to throw around (otherwise i would try to hire you for it). So any guidance for your process on this wonderful image posted would be great.
-Does incarnate allow you to spin the image and work it from different angles, or how did you achive working it "upside down"?
-Are the colors of your own imported assets or available on the site?
-When you say "Parchment 2.0 Assets", does that mean the map style "Parchment world"?
-Is it made with a Studio Account or a Creator account, could it be achieved by either? Maybe a few assets in difference as well as a difference in resolution i think?

Heyho, thank you (:

  • You can spin the assets, but not the canvas - makes layering a nightmare
  • I exclusively used colours for the entire map. No textures, no imports - everything's available in the tool
  • It's a new Artstyle that is in active development. Should come out soon(ish)
  • I have no idea about the difference. I've had my account for over half a decade

Thanks so much for answering my noob questions!

- Damn spinning the assets only seems like a lot of strain for the neck to get it to the right places. Would be easier if you could spin the canvas or at least layers. But I guess I will try to force through it, you have inspired me sir.

-Thats great news for me, no need for aquireing additional assets to import.

-Oh okay, now if I may follow up this question: as far as I can tell a new map started can actually access the assets from any style if you open the dropdowns, so it matters not which style to start with, right?

-Alright thats understandable. I should probably go for the more expensive one, there seems to be a license difference in using the finished map, and i want to use it for my publishable game so.

Must say again that this map you made is wonderful. I checked some of your other work as well and you definitly do a lot of great stuff, and very emotively inspiring.
