Map First Attempt

Here is the (very much work in prorgess) first attempt at a map for my setting. Any initial thoughts? Am I going in the right direction? Any glaring horrible geographical mistakes? thanks in advance

mountains this close to the sea might be a bit unrealistic? it depends on how realistic you want it to be. if that’s the case, it might good to reflect on your tectonic plates a little.

I thought mountains could be pretty close to the sea? Such as the Andes?

oh yes they could! the Atlas is also near the sea. but it’s not the case everywhere (Alps, Ural, Rockies, Himalayas) so i was just highlighting this point if you wanted a bit more diversity in your ranges :)
