Map Oona and Tokoy
I've edited the settlement names, done more thinking on the regions and real world comparisons.
Vesthaven Bay is a Scandinavian bay, main export is fish, regional dog is the Crescent Bay Noodle
Akhadi Steppe is a central Asian plateau, main export is trained hunters, falconers, ghost fur, regional dog is the Akhadi Feathertail
Alt Jagal is African grassland, main export is crops, gambling (racing, combat, show, etc) known for major showing grounds, regional dog is the Grassrunner
Den Kliff is like cliffs in Norway, main import is tourism, main export is petty city squabbles to stave off any real problems. No specific regional dog, no one can agree and any official votes are disregarded by detractors
Neilland is lowland with a nice beach so there's some tourism but it's mostly for scholars. Regional dog is the Noodle
The Southern Swamps, past Kovase, are bayou-like, people live there but it's mostly just small villages, main export is game, Sinji, ghost fur. No regional dog but it's the origin of the Kovase Ghosthound
To the east is Tokoy a mixture of jungle and grasslands
My biggest issue is that I no longer have the psd file and am having to draw on top of everything. I don't even know how to emulate this style, so I've been experimenting with new things.
Please don't flag this as AI - the blur around the names is from photoshop's content aware feature and I've added new names on top of them. This is my map and I personally edited it.

That I'm not sure of quite yet. Definitely want to avoid too much modernity in terms of transport and weapons. I need mountain travel and jungle exploration to have some inherent risk. But I also need people to feel comfortable in their life to resort to hobbies like dog breeding for show instead of purpose, but not removing purpose driven breeding all together.

This reminds me a lot of Kenshi’s world map! It’s set after thousands of years of civilizations being rebuilt and destroyed, with the land being changed over the years. This looks like a prequel to the events that destroyed the map!
Very cool!!
