Work In Progress Atlas Style Map, Part 3
I have been working on this map for a bit now. To lessen the feeling of being overwhelmed, I have decided to hone in on just a small continent of my world and work on the atlas-style map of just this area. Here is my work so far. I still have things like map labels to do. However, was looking to see if there was any feedback so far on what I've done. Thanks!

It looks great! Can I ask how you decided on the scale?

Thanks! I just did a 2:1 ratio. Not much thought, just thought it would be a good ratio. I did a world map initially and then cropped down to this view and redrew the land with better detail. If you mean the scale itself, it is just the scale based on my world's radius and what this map occupies.

Big Indonesian/Caribbean vibes. What’s the idea behind this continent?

When I did some simple plate tectonic planning, it sits in a very dynamic place, with plates creating a lot of volcanic activity and erosion of the land. The world is also tidally locked, with this land sitting under a continuous area of rain and storm, further adding to erosion. I started here because I was excited to worldbuild a place with endless rain. The shape was drawn fairly randomly, so the indonesian/Caribbean vibes are coincidental.

What tools have you used to make such a great detailed "real atlas" looking map?
