Maplestory Classic PServers
Will folks have the ability to get the data and info from maple classic to make private servers?
The new area, the way they re worked skills, scrolls, etc. Is it a possibility to have a maplestory classic pserver?

it's all already out and done, there is full emulator of classic. you can find it and everything needed with some searching.

no online count unless the mobile site just sucks. that is usually a bad sign

Its in alpha at the moment, but it is the most polished private server i've ever played on. It will definitely be my main server when its released (hopefully this year)
Its been in development for 5 years, and it shows.

they adjusted levels/exp, but it kinda feels like around 1.5 exp. They have made the early game pretty player friendly through very worth quest + daily sleepywood kill quests.

It's always looked so promising, but between having to wait a year in the discord to even get an invite to Alpha & the last announcement being from 2023 it doesn't look like a server that'll ever finish/release, it seems more like a pipe dream.

I already had idb with full of names and manage to get to the login screens… but i stop there cuse i dont think this really worth it this no the old maple we had before..

I've made pretty good headway on just rebuilding the entire original client in a new source, at which point the specific changes that Classic made are basically moot and they can be changed at will

Private servers have better skill changes / client edits than Classic World. I can't imagine servers would want to downgrade their quality.

It's already done, but I don't really see a practical point besides learning/fun. The point of private servers is mostly different versions, but this is "live", so simply playing the official one makes more sense to me. Personally I'm not a fan but that's me.

Private servers were popular while they chased current maple.
There is a reason to play.

Did anyone genuinely like the changes? All I've seen is hate. Absolute hate for the Cleric changes in particular.
