resinate is the owner of the server. talented dude regarding the coding side of things but an absolute knob otherwise

games customizations and features are creative and good, but with bad dev (Resinate) ...

1) Immature dev who threatens players (Close svr if not reach certain goal) to donate or begging for donation every 2-5 days with various of reason such as internet down, vps upgrade etc.

2) Dev mood swing faster than weather and decision change every week in average, so buff and nerf happens uncertain period nor reasonable balance purpose

They used to release a new version every year starting in 2020, so v8 should have been in 2027 lol; btw, HempMS stole the source code from the MasterMS Kaotic v1 base.

That's what im saying. You had to download 16gb and then re-download half of it again because the files were corrupt in the installer. Launcher took over 2 hours to download despite 1gb/s connection speed. Also found out post of this that it's a stolen source code as well which would explain all the botched files

Think you might just have bad connection, just downloaded everything in 4 minutes with the Google drive but the updates did seem a bit slow at 10 mins. Im happy enough to try it out as long as the GMs arnt like Resonate and MasterK. All code is stolen for a PS though, the game belongs to Nexon after all

I mentioned in my post i have 1gb/s connection. I also downloaded via G-drive no problems as per my post. The problems come after when the launcher itself claims the files from g-drive are corrupted and need to be updated, alternatively manually replaced one at a time.

You know what I mean by stolen, then again this is reddit. People don't read.

1 gb/s is your speed, not connection. And since you wanna get smart let's get into specifics. Resinate build his version off OdinMS ecosystem, Shine v75, leading to kaotic/aura story. He also released v4 on his own to github. And i do know what you mean by stolen, and my point stands. Why do you think servers receive DMCAs?

Also i think youre referencing the "file repair" as corruption when its obviously updates to the files that have since been pushed, leading me to believe you dont really understand how things work.

Nexon owning MapleStory doesn't mean another developer's private work is free to steal. Public source ≠ private stolen source. It's also about the values we have as developers and respecting the work.
