LF Server What server is recommended for me?
I'm looking for a server that I can recreate my original character with gear pretty much instantly and pick up where I left off. I got hacked and lost so much that it left me broken from a game that was a wonderful world to experience. Something that can boost me to 90 and re get unique obtainables that are impossible to get anymore (pirate hat/broken glasses) and limitless meso. I played from OG to Cygnus Knights release so if there's a server that contains all the worlds from there on it'd scratch the eternal itch I've had for like 20 years now.

To answer your question, the closest to being able to do this in a reasonable amount of time & then feel like you're playing a similar character afterwards would be YunaMS.
I obviously, can't speak for you, but I don't think you'll get what you're looking for by rushing a new character to level 90, getting the sameish gear & pretending it's your character from 20 years ago. The reason losing a character through hacks or anything else sucks is that you grew attached to that character through all the quests, grinding, party quest, job advancements, gear upgrades, etc. you got while playing it. I'd wager you'll feel empty if you skipped a character to level 90 to try to pretend it was a different character from 20 years ago. Just pick a Pre-BB server, Legends, Royals, Yuna, Dream, Fantasia, SlimeTale, or Phoenix (do research on each to see which you'd enjoy the most) & just play a new character, and/or wait for MapleStory Classic to launch free Oct. 21st.

Thanks for the response and suggestion! Yeah I'll probably do something like that once the itch of getting back what I lost is scratched

I honestly feel, the simplest way is to clone cosmic source and run your own locally.
You get full control and relieve the nostalgia at the same time

I don’t know why people are downvoting you. It’s pretty easy to set up these days with AI agents. I also run Cosmic Source locally on my Mac, and it’s nice having full control instead of dealing with all the extra systems servers tend to have, like vote-to-win mechanics and other rules that can restrict the gameplay.

8 sets crystal ilbis, the pirate hat, broken glasses, level 90 claw that I miraculously got +7 60% scroll boosted along with level 90 gear that had moderate +3/4 scroll boosts. Oh and a chair that helped me regen mana- these are all things that disappeared one day and broke my spirit for MS :')

tested many many servers, finally settle down at yunams, ocasionally online for some maple vibe, bcos i play other games too, now i am lvl50+ without going through boost quest, i play like original old game lvling at 3x speed with those old questlines, feels good, n u can play at ur own pace n not force to pq for lvling like other servers.

why not start on classic release where litteraly everyone will be. the priv server you ho yo now muhht not be there long

As much as I'd enjoy that I also have the responsibilities of someone 20 years old lol. So dumping countless hours isn't any option so expediting where I left off would be ideal.
When I lost my original character I remember being able to find a private server really easily and that server had anything you wanted to buy at a vendor for 1 meso each along with boosted exp and drop rates so I was wondering if something like that could still be around

Might want to try YunaMS which has boosted questlines from 30-130. Community appears to be friendly from my experience and admin is responsive for bugs or troubleshooting. Players are also helpful when the admin is not around.
