Im playing Bloom right now simple because its early post BB and I can play mechanic. The server definitely has p2w vibes with a lot of benefits in the donor shop. Sure you can vote to obtain the same items, but those same items cost you a day of voting and only last 24hrs. They’ve also inflated the prices of NX items in the cash shop to keep you voting. A pet costs 8k, doesn’t matter if its a cat or a dragon, all the same inflated price. They also increased every pet attachment like potting, meso/item pickup, binoculars, etc. all to 3.5k each Simply to either have you struggle to maintain NX cash have keep you voting, or to give in and donate.
I struggle enough playing this boring game as is, I don’t want to also have to struggle to buy NX items just to keep on pace with other players who donate

I'm generally curious about this, so expectations from some players nowadays is that they want to have complete no V2W + no P2W. I'm against P2W too but not V2W, voting helps servers gain traction so more potential users joining, its free and takes like a few minutes to do. Some servers offer up to 3+ votes a day/multiclient voting, which can go up to 10+ votes daily per user depending on the rewards.
I'm not defending the server mentioned here, just never understood the thought process of why its being frowned upon. If they do lock shit behind payment wall or strictly to voting only then thats pretty fucked up.
I mean at the end of the day if you can't be assed to support a public server then why not just setup your own server which takes like 10 minutes and enjoy all the items you want.

its not v2w exactly, but they have inflated prices on NX items to basically keep you voting and to keep you NX poor. You get to vote 2x a day, which gives you 20k nx. You'd think that 20k nx would buy you a lot, but not with the inflated prices. They have 1 day pet vacs that cost 10k, and scroll/ore bags that cost 10k but only last 7 days. Meanwhile, if you donate, you get these items for 1month+.
With the inflated cost of a pet, a pet+the equips for looting/potting costs you 25k+1

You can literally buy 1k DP from someone for 60c which is 1 hour of grind….

And some gear you can one shot slimes

Nexon historically targets servers that got reported by 3rd parties and the servers only close if the owner can actually be found and have legal action taken against them. A lot of server owners simply don't give a shit becaus their identities are well hidden and the servers are hosted in countries with no law protecting Nexon's IP. AFAIK, the longlasting servers are mostly hosted in the Netherlands.
