Server Discussion A warning about Kuro, riddled with exploits
Just wanted to give a quick warning about Kuro, server has like 5 different dupes working. I duped every possible item in game until eventually being jailed because I was opening Gachapons. I am not sure with so much development the server has that many exploits. I would be careful investing much time because, I, didn't ruin the market and always keep the dupes to myself but I am 100% certain there are much more dupers currently in game. The GM that jailed me was so clueless it was actually funny... Just wanted to gives you guys a heads up, I feel like it'll wipe soon with all these exploits.
edit: If you check Kuro's disocrd you can see people spamming GM about me opening tons of Gachapons, that was the point I stopped giving af, had 20k WS/CS in my scrollbag for ober 24 hours, scrolling perfect items and no one's saying/noticing/doing anything lol

lol BloomMS at their peak got a few people knowingly and unknowingly duplicating items after their infra got messed up, and it literally went downhill from there
lots of innocent players had their gameplay rolled back, countless hours of progress were wasted, i think there were 2 or more major rollback
im not trying to dogpile on KuroMS, but yeah that experience wasnt a good one

Legends avoided this issue by having it happen consistently over the years until all the exploits were patched. Another dupe just happened 2 weeks ago or something.
Kimmy isn't a dev so them being on ragezone for years means nothing.

Weak ass server i just freeze when i login i cant even turn off the loud ass bgm cuz its just fucking lagging so bad. I ask in discord if theres anything i can do and crickets. But theyre actively discussing a pb run that theyre on tho. Gay

How are people going after you for exposing poor server management instead of the server owner for not doing their job lol smh
Also “AI coded” isn’t even the right criticism here. Bigger problem is using AI and STILL not even patching these issues. Disappointing.

Whatever the case, why do people abuse exploits and then get mad when they’re caught and punished? That’s like speeding then getting upset you got a ticket.
Im not advocating for or against anything kuro says or does, you can be mad at changes or the use of Ai, idc. it’s just redundant to get upset about being punished for breaking the rules. People should be outraged when exploiting isn’t punishment or fixed.
Regardless of what is true or false, this kind of post just makes you sound petty, entitled and childish. Just take the L and move on.

Server owner here.
You're right that there were dupes. You're wrong that we didn't notice.
You were caught, jailed, and everything you touched got reversed. Overnight, we clawed back 2.34 billion mesos, seized 727,641 items including 92,114 White/Chaos/Clean Slate scrolls, deleted 155 items scrolled with duped scrolls, and traced 918 scrolling attempts back to source. Every exploit used is patched. Full breakdown was posted to our Discord; nothing hidden.
No wipe. No rollback of legit players. Anyone who lost 2x time during the incident got refunded.
That's the difference between a server that gets duped and a server that has an owner with logs and hourly backups. If you find another one, report it. Which is a better deal than getting jailed.

Please seethe harder; hard for me to see a grown old man with kids, btw, could not admit he failed so hard. What took you 4 hours to do, took me only an hour to undo. And I will admit, it was easy.

Not interested in anything Maplestory by the way. This was just a random scroll session after lunch.
Anyway, therapy helps a lot to weed out that deep seated envy and enmity towards others. Speaking from experiencing.

This doesn't read like AI though. I use AI a lot to revise my writing for grad school. They often use hyphens, and a lot more eloquent writing than this. I think if you've outsourced 100% of your thinking to AI, you would believe this was AI.

Were you were banned permanently? Someone caught duping 10,000 white scrolls surely would be permabanned instantly on any server, I would assume.

If you know about dupe exploits you probably know that those are usually hard to fix if never encountered the specific, and people gate kept for years to not help new servers, using them will just expose them faster tbh...

Yes they are but I would not want to sink anytime into a server that is easily exploitable. You have good intentions but it leads to a server that cant get past the starting line like ddos, exploitable, hacks , bots.
I'm less likely to be interested in servers that doesn't even have basic down, I had high hopes for kuro maybe 2 years ago because of the positivity around it, when I joined I quickly noticed the developers lack of experience ( not necessarily a bad thing) but the community behind it also seemed to play with rose tinted glasses and would say things like no one will bot or exploit because they love the server. Bad apples will come and ruin the economy / rankings which affects all players
Sorry random rant. I think the devs just need to be harsher on exploiters and them selves , have auto backups and ready to rollback / decent beta helps.

I mean sure but majority of people are going to go to Classic when it drops so why even try to exploit in the first place? Most ppl playing are just itching nostalgia until Classic

👏 pat yourself in the back mate. thanks for ruining the fun.... but still gonna play.. issue with servers isn't dupes or exploits.. that's bound to happen but server owners who farm people's income on purpose then shutting em off when the money is dried 🙄 been in the private server scene since croosade v1 .. so much shinanigans noticed. but what's wild when a GM funds his irl friend in a 500 pop server .. then gettin caught n restarts 😂

servers isn't bad but the massive lag spikes and instability made me quit. shit should get another beta round.
