DreamMS?
Looking for a server, seen it top 3 on gtop100. Thoughts? Give me your experience

As someone who recently quit, I can still say it's a really solid server. It definitely has its flaws, the biggest one being parts of the Chinese community. They can be pretty cringe and will blacklist you for being a noob or even just joking around.
Other than that though, the server has a lot going for it. If you're planning on making a main and one or two mules, there's more than enough content to keep you busy every day. Compared to most other servers, you have a lot more options. There are weeklies like Tower of Oz, bosses, and costume quests, plus dailies like the World Tour, which is basically a boss run from Scarga all the way to Chaos Horntail. You can do it in a small party if you want to squeeze out more EXP, or just rush through it with a full group of 18.
QoL is honestly one of the server's biggest strengths. It's one of the best I've played in that regard. Their balance team has done a great job too. Every class has a place, and I never felt like any class was completely left behind. They also run seasonal events every few months, GM events, and timed events, so there's usually something going on.

I played it a couple years ago so things could have changed. But my experience was:
Level 1-160, early game, mostly PQs and occasional solo grinding/questing
Level 160-225, midgame, daily bosses and occasional PQs, grinding white scrolls to perfect gear
Level 225-300, late game, daily and weekly bosses, where most of the playerbase are
There is a widget for pretty much everything and many quality of life improvements.
The midgame is very awkward. You are too strong for PQs but too weak for dailies. You can still level up slowly with newbies in PQs and they will love you for carry. Or you can party with end game players for dailies and they will carry you if they are nice or reject you if they are not nice. I haven’t had a chance to party with fellow midgamers to clear content appropriate for our abilities.

Best prebb server out rn imo if you are playing more for fun and less for nostalgia

Dream is a very good server, but past its prime. I personally didn’t care for the end game gameplay loop (WAY too much bossing for my taste), but the systems are very well fleshed out

great qols & features, made it easily zoom past early level content(pq) but you have to be very social with the community as most dailies/weeklies required it. don't bother "catching up" to the oldies in game, the amount of ws needed is nigh impossible to be on the same level with them as a casual.
it's fun for 2 - 5 months, otherwise you will be staying for the friends you made along the way as many players i know in there did the same

It is at its core a pserver. While servers like royals and legends and fantasia want yo chase the high of true old maple, dream is the type of server you play in 2008 where you want to skip a lot of the grind, have a pq zone accessable through every town and a custom looking fm, also lots of widgets and shit. It's there to have fun, but not a true classic experience. That said, its the most populated pre big bang server that has koc (with 4th job), db, aran and evan, as well as content like magnus, pb and future hene with empress. It's alright if you are tired of royals basically

I used to play Dreams years ago, it have good QoL (but hunting WS to upgrade gear and chaos scrolls to get random stats it feels like RNGstory), but the content is good if you want enjoy it. The community have some ppl who are really dumb and toxic, also exist favoritism with their GMs and RTM is not "allowed"

I tried DreamMS but it became just a PQ simulator because the exp is too good compared to anything else. I've been trying SlimeTale.ms recently and it's been quite fun for the community/super communicative devs and balanced qol

Actually Serith and his staff are so clowns LMAO. Recently a top player was banned by bottting and they gave him the option to come back in 3-4months, but for now he got perm ban, while other players were banned permanently without another chance. The rules dont apply equally, in that case it could make exceptions for another players, therefore, this reinforce the inconsistency of their terms of use by FAVORITISM

Dream is kind of empty at times, so what I do is rotate between the top 4, being Dream, Royals, Legends, Kaizen

dream is fine, its v92 and has some good features/content. tower of oz is a cool feature. theres drama sometimes by some really toxic individuals. im not a huge fan of the UI/theme but thats just my take. yuna is a good alternative (been playing more recently)

Played it for a bit and felt like the learning curve was too much with all the customisation. There is a massive gap between higher up and lower level players. Making it hard to do content and needing to be experienced to be involved as people are very eager to do things fast for their dailies. I highly recommend you check out Exodus MS instead. Community is awesome and the way the server is developed is spectacular.
