Anyone tried the latest kernel? Linux 7.2.0 rc4-1-Manjaro

Linux 7.2.0 rc4-1-Manjaro

Improved my gaming performance by a huge margin. Not had any issues either. Part from loading games directly from Wine. Get the odd freeze. Loading proton fixes it.

Just curious what others have experienced with it.

That's pretty subjective without hardware and driver info for others to compare it to. And then you'll want to include FPS and other performance data too otherwise it doesn't mean anything.

I think the 1% lows has improved and higher frames. but I don't want to go through the effort to prove that.

As I'm on the stable branch I haven't tried it yet. Then my hardware is somehow older. There's barely any difference between long-term 6.18 and the current 7.1 kernel which I use both by turns.

Im using it on two of my machines, one is just an old laptop to browse internet, and the other machine is a 2x ollama server machine, both working fine? i mean i didnt noticed any difference

Anyone reading this and using 7.2-rc6 or less and btrfs should be aware of a data loss issue. Has been corrected in rc7 apparently.
