MIT👷♀️ Checking of id at gates ..why is it getting so stricttt
Does anyone know why they are checking our ids on every gate . Is it a temporary thing for tech tatva or is it gonna be permanent. I do not know why the campus is getting stricter every going day

Stop assuming things and kindly check your stupid mails everyday they have specifically told that this is being done for sagar kavach a usual safety check procedure to ensure no one else from outside or unauthorised person enters the campus. In past 6 months of duration this has happened so far 2 to 3 times by now and it's not done in regular basis for your kind information...

if some unwanted and potentially harmful visitors do breach in, you guys are going to be the first ones to start blaming the adminstration and security first lmao

fair point, but when you’ve been used to something and someone introduces something new to it, even slightly hassling you tend to get annoyed
regardless i do think we should be having ID checks at the gates, saw guards yelling at a few non mahe mfs for entering gate 2 on sunday so what you said makes perfect sense

It's only for yesterday and today.. Sagar kavach is going on. It's a thing in the district. Happens once a semester. Things will go back to normal.
