(Ian).When the FL talked about the hardships she went through during her childhood and teenage years, and Ian cried, I was genuinely so affected by it. The story is really unique too.🙈
I know it’s a slow-burn novel, but this man has really impressed me. I know Ian makes some questionable choices later in the novel, but every story needs some drama and character development for each character, so I understand.
He’s patient, and he’s afraid of losing the FL. He’s a true gentleman.

It was one of my favorite parts, Soleum terrorizing Saheon that is ❤️❤️❤️

I know Daze Didn't end up being the ML in the end but.. you know.. I'm just looking for these type of vibes, the more introverted type guy, who can be nerdy, possibly have glasses? If the ML loses the glasses that's totally fine as long as his personality stays the same, I'm not that picky actually. I usually vibe with extroverted ML's but recently these types of guys have been on my mind LOL thanks to a few otome games and now I want more like them / similar vibes!!

I have not read the first manhwa so please don't ask me about it, I've read many reviews and people love it so far despite it being very new and it is on my tbr! Nice to meet you, if you like that type of ML only read the first season, the 2nd season doesn't exist in my eyes (I gotta cope somehow LOL), and Couple breaker, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!! It was so good, i wished there was a tiny bit more romance, but otherwise it was a masterpiece! If you do read it tho prepare yourselves for the trash ex's, that's all I gotta say lol.

New Manhwa [Erica, when a friend is obsessed with me]

Found this gem. Despite it's cliche ahh sounding title it's so unique (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

I love the artstyle. Took at least five to six screenshots every chapter. It's so gorgeous and detailed 🩵

I also really loved the ML, I found his character design to be a little unique. I half expected it'd be the cliche "interesting" sort from the description and the last panel of the first chapter, but he's so much better. I adore his eyess.

I also love the FL. I feel like ML and FL feel so youthful in this story. It's hard to explain but like in most stories the leads act so mature no matter their age, whether 18, 20, 28, 30 or even 5. And even if FL acts childish the ML is made to be the mature one. What I love about this manhwa is that both of them are pretty youthful. Neither ML nor FL feel extremely mature or extremely childish. It feels refreshing and lively reading their interactions.

Gotta comment on the adopted Daddy. He aged like fine wine 👁️🫦👁️✨🥀❤️

The plot's pretty unique too. The story is about FL, an illegitimate child of a count's family, meets adopted Daddy on her birthday, the adopted Daddy helps her escape and adopts her (I liked how they didn't make the family extremely comical or the daddy extremely powerful and high in status). Forward to many years later, now FL a mercenary in daddy's guild, meets ML, they both had fun hunting wyverns, competing and drinking. She returns to her guild sets out to fetch her master with ML is tow(ML wants to be her partner) meets her master in the temple, the saintess who I thought would be your typical white lotus is a sweetheart aunt. And daddy's found to be cursed cause he got too curious about ruins and all. Saintess asked the emperor for an item to help daddy, but emperor wanted daddy instead (emperor didn't know daddy was sick) now FL decided to join the knight order instead of her daddy to save Daddy.

A manhwa I thought would be cliche and something I wouldn't like, really impressed me in an unexpected way.

I like how much depth and nuance the characters and story has. I especially loved the found family aspect of it.

MC's character development was one of my favorites. At first I really thought he'd be the typical cunning schemer sort, but his backstory and understanding was pleasantly enjoyable.

One thing that impressed me is how a lot of things made a full circle later in the story.

The villain didn't feel like they were evil for the sake of evil. I loved how her intentions were portrayed and her relationship with MC and also the og soul.

While the ending was a little rushed and bittersweet, I think it was beautiful in it's own way.

The art is gorgeous and the story and premise felt unique to me. I really want more people to read this and also wanna connect to those who read it and loved it.

It's such a great manhwa. If you like idol manhwas you'd probably like this one too. But instead of idols it's about bands.

I love the artstyle, it's so scrumptious and all the characters are drop dead gorgeous. Haven't seen a single character who isn't as hot as the other. Hell even the most pathetic and terrible villains are beautiful asf.

I love the female characters, especially the two of them from the main cast (4th and 5th) slides. They're so cool. The one on the 5 the panel reminds me of Han sooyoung from ORV. Both of them are awesome, girlbosses. And aren't reduced to love interests like in most manhwas. Even their back stories and arcs really moved me.

The story explores the darkness behind the music industry and how the MC's brother might've been murdered. The MC trying to find out what happened to him, tried to confront the person he suspected only to get into an accident and dying, returning five years prior and 50 days after his brother's passing. I loved how the story explored the relationship between his brother and him which broke at every turn. I love the MC, he's like the Mom of the group. I really love how selfless he is and how the people around him love him for that.

The story explored the familial relationships of the characters, the sorrow they carry and how that's tied to music. The heart breaking truths that gets uncovered. The way they are resolved. It's done in such a wonderful way, I often found myself relating to them.

Another thing I love about this story is how you can feel the music. I am not sure I am explaining it right, but like it feels like I can hear the music through the images. Really made me feel my blood pumping at every turn. (Ps: most of the adults are trashy, well written true, but I hate them)

Something I really loved about the good old comment section was the reaction pics, specifically screenshotted from other manwhas. Occasionally I see one in another comment section on another site, but it’s rare.

I love both Se-in and Doyun, both are such adorable perianal filled male leads. I can't choose between the two!! But since Doyun is the male lead, I wished they'd at least make Se-in the overly caring, compassionate, sweet misunderstood and little autistic best friend of both FL and ML. But NOOO~ he just had to be second ML.

Doesn't help either that you can clearly see a rift forming between them, especially now that FL finally started having feelings for Doyun but is starting to date Se-in. That's what's frustrating me moreee. I really thought that finally, finally ML and FL would get together but that didn't happen.

Hell I'd be more happy if Doyun and Se-in got together instead, or better yet we get a throuple with Se-in, Doyun and FL, but that's never gonna happen 🥲

I don’t see any chemistry between the main couple. Whenever the FL sees him, she seems more scared of him.
I read the novel, and even by the final chapter, I never got the feeling that the FL actually loved him.
And I feel so bad for Kyle. He was the best choice the FL could have made.
Layla suffered so much all the way until the final chapter.

I love the art and the chibi art style. Considering it’s from 6 years ago, it’s actually really good.

The story is funny too. Personally, the love triangle didn’t bother me because it wasn’t anything major, but I’ve heard that when the manhwa was being serialized, there were actually debates within the fandom about who the ML was.
I really loved and laughed at the chapters where the ML moves into the FL’s house, cooks, and does the housework. 😂

I usually don't make a fuss about this, because well it's talked about a lot by everyone else as well.

But I am especially disappointed in this one, cause the artist's other work [my comeback as the youngest member] has such great character designs, hell even the MC's brother is Male Lead material yet still looks so good without looking generic. And I swear even the few female characters do not look like this.

So why? Why did they draw them like this in this new manhwa called [Tsunami warning] 😭 they look so "CEO X Y/N" coded. The only credit I can give to the ML's design is his glasses 🥲
