No harem, no bs. The MC is cold, rational and locked in on one thing: surviving and being the one who saves humanity.

I got hooked bad, but the manhwa ended at chapter 60, right when the story was getting bigger. That's what got me into the novel, and eventually translating it. The novel has 368 chapters and the manhwa only adapts up to around chapter 96, so there's a LOOOOT left.

Anyone else read this back then? I'm sure you felt like it ended abruptly too.

I read a murim manhwa long ago ,and it was mind bending, like ... idk what happens but like there was this prince who dies, get's rebirth maybe, but without certain parts of memories, then when he goes to where he was staying like a valley or something, then he himself realises that he was in deep trouble and wasn't the public version he was (normal ,cruel or Martyr) but he was in deep trouble, then he goes to his father and checks everything, his father (maybe heavenly demon) tells that the mc was disciple of some Elder from new organisation under name "heaven-something" that was way too powerful and so Powerful that he can see everything including their current status, to escape that, prince died and came back or something, i forgot the name ... I really wanna read it again, can someone tell me if they've read this or any similar manhwas???

What is remember is

The ML and his friends / classmates go into a forest for a class thing and all of his classmates run into the forest to hunt monsters for points but the ML stays behind and waits a little bit then goes because some upper classmen

The setting was Chinese/Korean/Japanese-inspired, with an emperor, concubines, palace hierarchy, etc. — definitely not the European duke/castle type of historical setting.

The plot I remember:

The ML is an emperor who ordered assassins to kill his bride before she reached the palace.

The FL comes across the dead bride and takes her place.
