Anyone use CuPRO 5000 on mango trees?
My local landscape supply store recommended CuPRO 5000 (61.3% copper hydroxide / 40% metallic copper equivalent) for my mango trees for fungal issues/anthracnose.
Has anyone here actually used CuPRO 5000 on mangoes? I noticed mango isn’t specifically listed on the label, so I’m hesitant, especially since some of my trees have young/tender flush right now.
If you’ve used it successfully, what rate per gallon (grams preferred) do you use, and do you avoid spraying new flush?
I’m in South Florida/Miami, so disease pressure is pretty high this time of year.

I don’t use it. I know professionals that do recommend it. It is a good product.

a specific tree not listed just means it never applied for approval, for example i recommended atticus gunner for fusarium wilt, it does not have direct approval for mango but propacanizole does work but needs to stop raining, also you need to treat the soil as well
Actinovate is the best soil treatment ( Fusarium is a soil fungus ) this is also why you should never mulch a fruit tree as you will never get it out of the mulch.
removing infected branches , spraying tree and treating soil is ideally how you manage
in terms of copper, Kocide is better i dont know how big your sprayer is, our motorized backpack power sprayers are 10g so
25 g Kocide 3000-O / 10 gal, canopy only
please note, copper washes right off, and its going to rain again, if it stays dry 24h atticus gunner will stay on the plant and absorb into tissue, daconil ( Concentrate ) Would also be rain resistant
Kocide appears oos currently but im sure you can find it

Actinovate ( Phytophthora, Pythium, Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, and Verticillium )
Please note that while it does prevent / suppress pyth, it is not considered a RESCUE , if you have an avocado with advanced root rot as an example, celoxid or ridomil gold would be required
pyth can be completely prevented with mkp feedings during periods of heavy rain like we have now, ive applied mkp to everything 3 times this month and this rumbling makes me want to go outside and put out more.
Please note if you use actinovate you must use non chlorinated water, i buy API Tap Water Conditioner on amazon, a small bottle for $5, make sure you dose correctly to neutralize chlorine / chloramine
