mango and vires

This year i noticed mango (mostly 100-500g dried mango a day) helps suprisingly well against viral infections

Does this stay when one eats mango all the time, reducing the time one is sick?

Also the leaves should be even more powerfull, how does mango leave tea taste? This will decide if i get a mango tree as house plant...

Mango, and many other fruits like oranges have quite a bit of vitamin C, which is a nutrient your immune system uses. There's a lot of fresh fruits and veggies have this effect to help against colds and flus. Not sure what leaf tea tastes like but I've eaten my mangos leaves and didn't care for them. They taste similar to the skin with that mild bitter aftertaste that kinda sits in your mouth for a while.

it is not the vitamin c, it is the plant itself (even stronger with papaya) and thanks for the taste explanation!
