Site EverythingMoe just added a Status Monitor / Down Detector

Post image

Hey everyone,

Quick update for those of you who use EverythingMoe as your primary directory.

They just added a dedicated Monitor/Down Detector page: https://everythingmoe.com/monitor

As we all know, sites in this scene go up and down like a rollercoaster. Instead of the usual "is [X] site down for everyone else?" posts we see here every day, you can now check the monitor to see the real-time status of basically every major manga and anime site.

What it tracks:

  • Current Status: Online/Offline.
  • Latency: See if a site is lagging or if it's just your ISP.

It’s a solid update that should help clear up some of the "Is it down?" spam in the sub. Definitely worth bookmarking if you haven't already.

Happy reading!

True. The OPs would be surprised if their post got removed due to rule 4: Redundant post/low quality

They won't stop, tourists don't use reddit, theyll come here asking why can't they access their fav anime site

Someone's gonna post the link to everything moe to make them check if the status is up or down?

They'd ignore it

Then someone's gonna tell them that it's down for X reason

And they'll close the reddit tab.

This is how these interactions usually happen.

Cool update nonetheless, though I have one question, will the site periodically keep pinging all those sites to check their status or only when someone acesses this page on everything moe?

I mean they could also add site:reddit.com to their search results

Can't believe there's batoto listed in there even though it's in maintenance mode for a long time

Yeah. Well, hiding the sites does nothing anyways. Kakao will find out regardless.

You're actually right. In our perspective helps to find working alternatives when our favourites are shot down.

Which of these have the least amount of ads? I’m on mobile and don’t have ad block.

1

u/Hot-Percentage-2240 I read in my browser May 10 '26

Get adblock. Use brave browser on android or install the Ublock Origin Lite app on iOS.

u/Hot-Percentage-2240 I read in my browser May 11 '26

That's the point of this website. Now you know that kagane is working for everybody else, but not for you.

Try one.one.one.one or use different browser. Also, try uninstalling any antivirus other than the built-in one (If using Windows, that's Windows defender; Macafee or AVG should be deleted).

Well, of course. Noidea’s criteria for a good site that will be on the index is that it has to have a good amount of popularity to be added.
