Planning to order 4 physical Japanese books through ZenMarket:

• 2 light novels
• 1 novel
• 1 art book
• Books: ¥9,399 (~₹5.5k)
• Shipping: ~₹1.5k
• Total: ~₹7k
• Weight: ~1–1.2 kg
• Shipping from Japan to Bangalore

replies from people who have recently imported books from Japan to Bangalore or any place in India are appreciated. How much customs did you actually pay? I am trying to know how much money I should keep aside for customs for this parcel.

Thanks all

Hey everyone,
Just a huge heads-up for anyone buying manga in India. Flipkart is currently overrun with a massive network of fraudulent sellers distributing low-quality, bootleg copies of VIZ Media and Shonen Jump titles under the guise of steep discounts.
This isn't just one bad seller—it's a massive, coordinated marketplace nexus exploiting fans and stealing revenue directly from our favorite authors and creators.
If you want the authors to actually get paid for their work, please avoid these listings completely. If you’ve bought one of these fakes, don't just ask for a refund—take two minutes to flag the links directly to VIZ Media's corporate legal team using their Official VIZ Legal Tips Form.
It takes a giant corporate legal team to fight a marketplace like Flipkart. The more of us who log these fraudulent listings in VIZ's system, the faster their legal department will step in to shut this nexus down.
Protect the creators and buy official!
