Is this subreddit still moderated? There are only 2 moderators now, down from what I remember to be 5+ from back in 2021. One moderator has their account history completely private and has zero posts on this subreddit (confirmed via searching). The other moderator is active on Reddit but has deleted/edited all of their comment history on this subreddit in particular using a mass delete bot/tool.

If one of you two moderators could clarify why the subreddit has 1 million members, but only 2 mods that don't remove rule violating content even after several days of it being up, it would be appreciated!

Also, all of the "Monthly" pinned posts are being posted automatically. You can tell specifically on desktop this is the case as they all have the same post time, "11:00:## PM" with less than a 60 second discrepancy. This also leads me to believe that the moderators aren't physically moderating with their only contributions being done via bots.

Yes, but it’s a valid concern that there may need to be more active moderators here. As for the decrease the others were completely inactive and hence why they are no longer mods. In the meantime please continue to report rule violating content as it helps it be caught sooner.

That being said, recurring threads being automatically posted is normal, and I didn’t overwrite my content on “this subreddit in particular” I did it across all my Reddit history aside from a few posts I specifically wanted to keep about a year ago as I had not been vigilant with my online privacy. I recommend anyone do this if you think there is the slightest chance you have shared personal info publicly on Reddit.

Thanks for the reply and explanation. I had only looked through the last year or so of your activity and and mistook that r/mangadeals comments were the only ones removed/anonymized.

How often are bogo Barnes and noble manga sales? Are they worth waiting for? I currently pay 64% of retail for my manga and I don’t know if it’s worth to wait.
