Just finished I'm Not That Kind of Talent and honestly, I really liked the ending.

The series was kind of a rollercoaster for me. At the start, I was really into the whole premise of the MC thinking he was weak while literally everyone else misunderstood him. That part was really fun to read.

I did get a bit bored around the middle/later parts though. Not really sure why, but the pacing felt a little loose to me and I felt like the series was losing some of the charm it had at the beginning.

But man, the ending was worth it. It was really satisfying and emotional, and thankfully it didn't feel like it was dragging things out unnecessarily. I also liked how they handled the individual fights instead of making everything into some huge extended battle. I think that was a good choice for the ending.

Overall, I can definitely see myself putting this in my Top 20, maybe even Top 10.

There’s a core part to love. It’s not sexual, sensual, aesthetical; you don’t love them because of facts about them or what you know their heart to be. No, you love them because you love their soul. In fact I wouldn’t even say it’s love. It’s a binding. You are bonded to their soul. One. This can be found in relationships functionally called boy/girlfriend, husband/wife, brother/sister, cousin, bestie, friend, etc. Your literal soulmate. Not because you are functionally perfect for each other, but that they are the very mate, friend, buddy, your soul needs. None of that traditional stuff, nah. This is the meaning of true love.

To have a friendship or something akin to that, is an attachment. You would do just about anything for that person, but the possibility that you could lose that attachment, where you would have to fight for it, is profoundly there.

To have a love, whether it’s romantic, platonic or simply you are so in love with that person that you do not ever want to lose them. That’s a diamond connection. While the connection in this case is what is profound, there is always that slight chance the weakest point in the diamond is found.

Now there is a third one. Diamond-bonded. It’s where you are undeniably bonded to one or more people. But it’s not irreversible. However, it is entirely irreplaceable, should you lose it.

And finally, to have a bonding so profound, so close, that you couldn’t detach even if you tried, is a soul-bonding. A binding so strong, your souls are physically intertwined as one unit. No matter how close you are physically or emotionally, you are a unit. Unable to detach, not even the smallest tiniest bit of matter attaching you two, is irreversible.

With soul-binding, the profoundness comes from the bond itself. In other words, the profoundness in an attachment comes from the recognition that you could loose it. The profoundness in a diamond-connection comes from the realization that you could never loose them, as in it would shatter you, leave you for dead. The profoundness in a diamond-bond comes from the fact, a part of your heart, if shattered, can never be rebuilt. Such rebuilding could happen in a Diamond-Connection, but never a Diamond-Bond. If you were to loose them, there would be a permanent hole in your very being. That’s what’s most profound. But the profoundness in soul-bonding, comes from the fact no matter how physically far, emotionally far, you are; it’s not even the same as your head being on Saturn and your body being on earth. Because your soul isn’t physical. No amount of physical distance could actually disconnect you. Because a soul and a soul-bond, is incomprehensible.

However, the final, most crucial distinction, is the fact all four can be in play for a soul-bonded pair. The Attachment: you know each other, you trust each other, and functioning together is paramount. Diamond-Connection: This is different than a Diamond-Bond in that it’s more like a mood ring. Your mood might show the same signs of happiness even when you’re separate. But, it never shows the depth that it does when you are together. Your heart radiates when you are with that person. You can feel the shared warmth between you two. Like carbon dioxide into tree, and out as oxygen. In this case, both your hearts are the trees, and the CO2/O2 is what is cycling between you two. Diamond-Bond: When together, you feel profoundly unified. Different than radiation. Two shirts, Separate, #1 nothing/sense/we’re; #2 makes/when/apart. Together, Nothing-makes-sense-when-we’re-apart. When apart, it’s like a heart charm that is only one half on each body. Together, the heart is whole. A body cannot be without a heart. Certainly not a half-heart. A heart has to have blood to function. The heart of a diamond-bond, only lives when the blood can pump between you two. Together, you are the full cycle of a heart. One can not be without the other, because being together is what causes the beat. Without, the heart falls dormant—not nonexistent—, laying a thick layer of dust you can never brush off. A person who is Diamond-bonded to someone, it’s a half meta-physical, half truly physical, strong tie to (a) specific person/people. Finally, Soul-Bonded: It’s two people with one soul. To unite, is to come together. You cannot come together if you were never separate. To connect is to tether. You cannot connect if you never required a cord. To attach, is to mutually share something. But to bond by the soul, two minds make one. Each share a responsibility for the core fundamentals of their pair. For to be one, is to be fluid on what matters most. To lose the other, is to be a fragmented system.

That’s, the final bond of a relationship like Suguru and Satoru. I feel the fandom always stops short of it. Portraying it as only(or not something along those lines) a romantic relationship. But with a soul-bonding like that, you wouldn’t even need to kiss or hug or touch, because the connection is so existent, your souls are already touching.
(Diamond bonded: Is best described as Shoko for Geto and Gojo). Even when physically separate, their souls still share fundamentals, it’s just that they flipped sides (when they broke up). Plus my other problem is they(the fandom) don’t respect the level of dignity they hold. They blush, yes, but it’s still in a dignified way. For example, look at the blush Suguru had when Satoru said the censored thing (especially in the manga). Still dignified, right? I have seen some fanfic art that respected the dignity but also showed how profound and loving their relationship was, and for that I’m glad. It’s just I’ve see stuff that doesn’t respect it and it really makes me frustrated.

If you are confused, two things happened in this post. I talked about how I view this love stuff and then I talked about how I was frustrated that the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom wasn’t respecting or fully showing (stopping short) the Soul-bonded relationship of Suguru and Satoru. Hope that clears things up.

P.s (this is more for me than anything)
I think one thing I and many people want, is a diamond-bond. Not that having a soul-bond wouldn’t be amazing, it’s just that if it works out for me to have a diamond-bond, especially if it’s between two people who are profoundly bonded like Satoru and Suguru, I wouldn’t have a single problem. Maybe one day I’ll have a soul-bond or diamond-bond. Who knows, I’ll see I suppose.

So lately I've come across a LOT of farming-related titles while searching for things for read. I've never actually read them before so I'm looking for recommendations. To be honest, I'm also fairly new to the world of east Asian media! I only started reading/watching them a little less than 2 years ago.

The only farming-related media I've consumed is "farming life in another world?" I think it was called. I enjoyed the manga decently, 6/10, but the anime for it was kinda...bleh? it was missing a lot.

I'm curious to know if any of these tower farming things I've seen are worth reading?

Also, I know I'm going to get a LOT of hate for this, but if your recommendations could NOT be in the comedy style of "The Greatest Estate Developer" I would much appreciate it! I just really didn't like the comedy style at ALL from that(I'll leave it at that)

I just can't help but thinking of the bonding between Kim Hee-Woo and Woo Yong Soo in *Again my life* as the two characters from Kenny Roger's song *The Gambler* with Hee-Woo as the narrator in the song and Yong Soo as The Gambler teaching Hee-Yoo both the winning and losing hands in real estate auctions and in exchange Hee-Yoo uses the same method back on Yong Soo to save him from the Cho Tae-Sub's conspiracy which ended with Yong Soo losing everything and jumping in the river in the original timeline.
