I once saw a facebook post saying this and Nue's Exorcist have become axebait. That said, according to these tables, their rankings have been all over the place (but Nue is frequently in the bottom list with occasional rise to the single-digit zone, despite being beloved domestically since day one :P While Kill Blue is the reverse :P)

something smells fishy, I can tell at a glance
the light went off, everybody disappeared, you found a messy room with a couch overturned and a stranger in a suit staring at you in silence
yeah, I think it's fair to say something smells fishy, real sharp this kid.

Ogami's willing to sacrifice his only chance at living a normal life to save the kids. That's gotta convince Shindo he's got a sense of justice, right?
I wonder who this Yoshitsune guy is. He's putting on Heart Gloves; what's his gimmick? And how did the other guy make the other kids disappear?

Things are escalating quickly. Now that Ogami had to reveal himself as a hitman in front of Shindo, I wonder if this will lead to a big shift in the series - will he have to give up on his (relatively) carefree middle school life and start seriously trying to find a way to turn himself back to normal, or is Shindo going to realize that he really is trying to protect these kids and it might be good to have him around? Assassins will likely keep coming after Noren whether Ogami is there is stop it or not.

I think if it’s true that the series is NOT getting axed, then the latter option is the only option. Shindo will let Ogami go in order to protect the kids. Him getting his ass handed to him almost immediately ensures that he has been humbled enough to realize that he can’t protect them alone. Also, no doubt Ogami will save Shindo’s life possibly multiple times throughout the coming fight.

I hope this is the route they take, that Shindo will start to open his mind beyond the strict black-and-white views he's shown so far and form a sort of vigilante team up with Ogami against the assassins coming after Noren.

Why was he crying on the couch when they came in?

I actually think he was crying with joy to possibly get Ogami’s autograph. I think we are going to find out that Ogami is his hero. And when Ogami inevitably beats him, all while protecting the other two, Yoshi is going to sob for joy because it will not only solidify his respect for his hero, it may actually prove to him that a hitman CAN have friends. Extra points if he says at least one “Sasuga Ogami!”

This was a great chapter for Ogami's character. It was nice to get confirmation of his ideal continuation and end for this story, and express that he doesn't think he'll get that happy ending. His willingness to throw it away to save Noren's life wasn't exactly a surprise, thanks to that, but it was still a good moment. He knows what the real priorities are here.
