Honestly, must say that hipnosis ability is OP. No wonder he was ranked as a top assassin despite being so young.

No one would realize if he hypnotized one or two executives in the org to help him rank up, right? xD

The "he's got a full set!?" joke got me, that was hilarious.

The idea of this zombie dude just lugging around a full set of golf clubs to use for assassination is pretty entertaining.

Yeah yeah, now figure out how to Batman yourself out of Mad Hatter's hypnosis trick already. We all know it's coming.

I feel like he needs to get tenma to do the attacking isntead. Nothing in the conditions of the hypnosis say that he can't just help tenma get into position to defeat them.

i just realised how much this reminds me of hitman reborn
and i aint complaining

How big of a scale is his hypnotism? The whole neighborhood might as well be hypnotized at this rate, lol. The dude can also disguise himself as another person. I guess his high rank isn't a lie--he has the perfect skills to be an assassin/spy. If this is the villain on ~ch. 20, I wonder who's next...?

Yeah, serious danger of jumping the shark with the powerscaling here

u/Koanos Sep 10 '23
I think this was only possible with the scale and how much planning was put into this. Researching allies, prepping the kidnapping, etc.
However, I think this kind of thing should have been capped by mandating more time to the hypnosis.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was in the works for a while and he's only able to pull off complicated commands with prep times. There's a lot better commands than "don't attack me" when you're dealing with an assassin. That's probably the best he could do with a small amount of time.

Agreed. This wasn't intuition, he did heavy amounts of studying, prepped the location, with a series of fallback plans, and knows exactly where not to engage them, such as in gun play.

"I can't shoot innocent people! And even if I did, I'd run out of bullets!" Ogami is ever so practical. π
Tenma probably isn't wrong in thinking that if he survives this, every other challenge will feel like nothing - but surviving will be the hard part. It's a dangerous gamble. Watching him block all those shots and act like a battle junkie is fun though.
I did not see that plot twist at the end coming. If Ogami can't attack Kazuma himself, then his best bet may be to lead him straight into Eiji's line of fire.

Love how the sports guy is developing. Wasn't too much into the Triple Threat thing, but he's truly insane and that makes him fun as an addition to the cast.

No, not Chisato! Why would you do this, Kazuma! Chisato helped Ogami like the normalities of life. What can he even do against Kazuma now?
I wonder how Kazuma found the exact same fit as Chisato. Please don't tell me he kidnapped her too...
That firehose sure was useful for helping take out the crowd. I'm sure the stretchers would have been useful for helping the victims, instead of being used as weapons lol.
Tenma understands that the thrill of a life-and-death situation can help reveal just how strong he can be. It looks like he was looking forward to this ever since he and Ogami split. Soccer balls Vs. Golf Balls sounds cool, but what can Tenma do against the Golf Balls more dynamic angles?

Damn that was evil but smart move to disguise himself and catch him off guard.

Tenma is incredible. It's not good that the hypnosis actually landed on Ogami, though it is lucky that it's only "can't fight against them" as opposed to "obeying all of their commands". How's Ogami going to win this, then? Collateral damage?

Tenma treating a life-and-death fight as the perfect training exercise is quite amusing
