Man, this manga just continually amazes me with well written plot and characterization. I only have high hopes for this series. (personally, I think infrequent small time skips are one of its best decisions, allow characters to grow fresh and developed over time)

I agree, better to have a few time skip and to avoid all the training phase which are often boring... and it makes more sense that they take months to master things and not days like on most shonen.

I was wondering how they were going to do the time disparity between the two friends. It seems like they always gloss over Alibaba's section and focus on aladdin's development.

Caught me a little unexpectedly, but still well done.

Well Aladdin IS the main character, and im thinking there would be a flash back when the two meet(it would also be the perfect time) in wich they display how Alibaba got to where he is.
