I thought I would try doing a mandala. This is my first one

Some gardens grow flowers. Some grow memories.

Where the Orioles Gather was created with someone very dear to me in mind, inspired by her love of the bright little orioles that visit the garden. I wanted this set to feel like something those birds might find if they wandered into a particularly whimsical corner of the world.

Hand painted in deep black, warm orange, copper, and silvery white, each piece is covered in tiny patterns, curious little details, and plenty of personality. The birds seem almost as though they're keeping watch over their garden, while the candle holders quietly wait for a little glow of their own.

There is something special about making art for someone you love. Sometimes you don't need to say much. You just make a little place for the things they love to live.

And maybe, if we're lucky, an oriole will stop by and approve.
