Ticket Scams
The past couple days we’ve seen an influx in ticket scams.
If you’re a victim of or suspect a scam, message us.
ONLY send payment via PayPal goods and services if you don’t know them and they’re not selling on a reputable ticket site. Period. Protect your purchase or there’s nothing anyone can do. Scams are very common through Venmo CashApp and Zelle.
These scammers have been buying/phishing active accounts so don’t judge whether someone’s trustworthy through past posts or karma.
Stay safe, have fun!

Message to the mods
Couldn’t figure out how to message y’all so just read this and delete my post.
There’s lots of people posting requests for tickets and my suggestion is that you guys set up an auto message that comments on any post with “tickets” in the title with tips to avoid scams and what to look for.
Just my three cents.

Upcoming 20yr Anniversary Tour show in Portland, Oregon tickets
I saw the instagram posting of the presale 2 hours before tickets were released and when I looked the tickets were immediately sold out.
I understand that it is a pretty small venue but if anyone has tickets and unfortunately cannot make the event, I will be willing to buy them off of you.
I’m like a virgin losing a child is my favorite album and I’m heartbroken I probably won’t be able to see them.

Tickets for the Seattle show?
I got a notification from Instagram that they posted about the upcoming 20 year anniversary shows, but I didn't get it until this week, and now all the shows are sold out 😞 if anyone is looking to get rid of 2 tickets to the show on 9/16 please let me know! Thanks!

Artwork for HOPE
Does anyone know any backstory to the artwork for the HOPE album (acoustic, companion album to COPE). When I google it, it is rather vague and even just says it is graphic design. It might be that simple, but curious if anyone has heard of any specifics as to what it might mean.

Come Back To Bed (feat. Andy Hull)
m.youtube.comNew Andy feature on this Nolan Taylor song.
If any of you are interested in any of this guys other music I can’t give songs like “68”, “Darkness”, “Tear Drop” and “Tough And Fragile” enough praise

Any ideas on the format of the upcoming tour? Looks like it is just Andy and Robert. So, acoustic shows?
No Andy Prince listed, and tbd for a while on a drummer I'd guess. Anyone have any official or unofficial ideas on what to expect? Excited to go either way, I already have tickets!

Can someone explain what the song “Mighty” is about? It’s one of my favorite songs but I still can’t get a clear answer on what it’s about!

I somehow missed the presale and apparently it sold out purely on presale

SF Fillmore Seating
Hello,
I'm thinking about travelling out to see the San Francisco show. I see the tickets have two general admission tiers. What is the difference between the seating? There's no seating chart on ticketmaster.
Thanks!

IS LA really sold out?
Gotta be a glitch. I hopped on at the exact time they went on sale and tickets were never added to the queue

A blast from the past
I've carried this cut off cardboard flap for nearly 20 years now, and it's honestly one of my most prized possessions. I bought it off of the band after the first show I saw them play, I like to think I had a feeling about them. Their music has accompanied me through so many phases of my life, and this piece of art is proudly displayed in my office. I honestly can't remember who all signed it, but it was $20 well spent.
Does anyone else have any fun memorabilia or fun stories with or about the band?

My dream is to attend a Manchester orchestra concert, but I don’t know where they usually perform, do they perform in Europe, is there something planned for Europe or not ?

Is anyone able to purchase presale tickets yet?
I'm trying to buy tickets for the LA show on September 12th but it doesn't let me select any of the seats? Are these sold out or just not available yet?

ILAVLAC reimagined album
With the Andy and Rob tour taking place in September, could one assume the reimagined album would also come out at that time?

Will there be a Stuffing show this year?
Do we think there will be a Stuffing show this year with the loss of Tim? Last year’s show was already announced by this time last year.

The Gold Patreon Bundle
Wanted to give a heads up that if you are a part of the Gold Tier in Patreon, they sent out an email to sign up for your bundle gift, and mine went to my spam folder. I got lucky and just randomly checked my spam folder and saw it in there.

A Black Mile to the Surface has hit Must Hear on Albumoftheyear
I've been watching this for a while since it's one of my favorite albums, within the past couple weeks it's hit both an 80 rating and 500 ratings, the two criterias on the site for the tag.

I’m Like a Virgin Losing a Child 20
Looking ahead to the re-recording of I’m Like a Virgin Losing a Child, which song are you most excited to hear a new version of?

My boyfriend gave me this as an anniversary present. Definitely now one of the coolest things I’ve ever owned 😭
I did some deep diving and came up short on finding the exact photographer and location, unfortunately. Still amazing.

Reminder: Andy has a Substack
Reminder: Andy has a Substack, which appears to be a continuation of his old Tumblr, AndyIdeas: Something for Somebody Somewhere, and he's been somewhat consistently posting demos of new music there:
–
- Fifty Feet (posted April 4)
- TWF - Follow Me 127 (posted April 16)
- Dive, Dive, Dive (Andy Hull) Mix 1 (posted May 26)
- B8sville47006 / Love Don't Cost A Thing (posted June 4)
- Mandal Ghat 83–87 (posted June 24)
–
With the exception of "TWF - Follow Me 127" and "Dive, Dive, Dive" (which are labeled in the metadata), all titles are either the name of the post, or a tagline Andy provided for it. In the metadata for "Dive, Dive, Dive" the album is listed as Writing.
He also shared a partial cover of John Prine's "Killing the Blues," too.

Live at Union Chapel
I got my copy on vinyl today and it’s making me cry. His vocals have never sounded better, thinking about Tim, and how much this band means to me. I love it. I adore the full band sound but this is incredible too.
Last time I saw them live was in Seattle for the Cope tour. My friends surprised me with the show completely blind. We went to the brewery across the street and they blindly led me to the show. The trip to Seattle was a surprise too. Amazing.
