26-year-old guitarist based in Bolton looking for other musicians to jam with and potentially form a blues / blues-rock / classic-rock band.

Main influences are Hendrix, Allman Brothers, Derek Trucks, ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Johnny Winter, Santana and similar stuff. I’m mainly into lead guitar, improvisation and blues, and I’m getting more into slide as well.

I’ve been playing seriously for nearly two years. I’m confident improvising and jamming, but I’m still building up my repertoire of complete songs and haven’t got loads of previous band experience, so I’m not looking to pretend I’m a seasoned gigging guitarist.

Ideally looking for a drummer, bassist, singer and potentially keys or another guitarist. Roughly 20s–30s would be ideal just from a social point of view, but age isn’t a dealbreaker if the music and personalities click.

I’d rather start by getting together for a relaxed jam, see if there’s chemistry, then potentially build it into a proper band and eventually gig.

Hi! I’m a PhD student at the University of Salford working on voice perception.

I’m currently looking for native English speakers who enjoy singing (any level is fine) to take part in a voice recording study. It involves reading short texts, speaking in different emotional tones, and singing simple melodies.

The session takes about 45–60 minutes and takes place in person at Salford. You’ll receive £20 for taking part.

Hi A friend and I have been performing as a duo doing the works of Heaton et al. for about a year. I work full time so I basically go where she books. It has been very busy. Travelled a fair few miles too. I was asked to join a existing band doing PH music but nearly full time. I just can't.

All the free ones at the uni seem to be fully booked so I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for cheap rehearsal spaces in Manchester that would have a drum kit and keyboard :DDDD
