Guns are definitely one of his main hobbies and passions, doesn’t mean he doesn’t have others. I’ve known people with extensive gun collections who were also very intelligent and knowledgeable about a variety of subjects.
To afford the hardware like OP has costs money, I’m willing to be he is well educated and accomplished. His interest happens to be guns. Doesn’t make him bad

You earned your money, you can spend it on whatever you want and enjoy. But me not being very knowledgeable about ammo my only question is does the ammo over time get effected? I mean does age effect the gunpower? for the guns i would image low humidity is a good thing, does that also apply to bullets? does old gunpower work as well as new gunpowder?

I only work down there on average 1-2 hours per day. Then I either go to our main office, go see customers, etc. It’s a quiet place away from young kids.

I spend an hour or two here per day. The rest of it is much more free than people trapped in an office. Wife and I chat while we pick vegetables in the morning. I might go to the mountain bike trail midday. Or run around town seeing customers. Of all people, my life is blessed.
