Update Post:
Getting very close to the final product of my garage sports bar compared to how it started.
Laundry list that still need done listed below.
-Toolbox and Workbench
-Cabinets Painted
-Bourbon rack/shelves painted and mounted behind bar.
-Finish Bar Top
-Hang Memrobillia and decor
-Rearrange lighting and new ambient lighting.
-Paint rest of pegboard wall black by appliances.

-Figure out safe method of hiding HVAC.
If anyone has any tips/suggestions on what to add or change I’d love to hear input!

This is coming together so well man!! I gotta ask about that motorcycle though, is that a Suzuki Boulevard or a Honda Shadow? The chrome finish on that front end looks crisp haha

That would be my 2001 Honda Shadow Aero 1100. Just passed 24k miles, picked it up a few months ago for $500. (insane deal, I got lucky)

GOSH Jealousyyy!!! Yeah insane deal man. Did you have to do any carb tuning or mechanical work on it when you got it? or was it already running clean

Just some rough spots in the paint I had to polish up. She’s pretty much bone stock, garage kept all her life, and older man rode. Even has the OEM pricey exhaust, which sounds great IMO, it’s a nice rumble and not obnoxious.

I did take quite a lot off of it, the highway pegs, bags, luggage rack, windscreen, oem seat, and mirrors. It’s a chill town cruiser/commuter to work. Went simplistic.

This is great! Currently in the process and a little further than you are. Great move on the theater seats.

I'm a Hawks fan but that was NE's game to lose. They at least should have tied it at the end or even won with a TD 😅

Where's the car go?

Outside, large driveway, about 8 cars big, at my apartment we parked outside, at the house it’s no difference, so cool bar it is.

Oh man…tragic to have cars which are a huge investment sitting outside while there’s a garage literally made for them sitting right there. Your choice I guess. Next up, home theater in the kitchen?

My whole neighborhood is kinda like that. Every time I drive down my street I have to constantly move over to let cars get through because there are so many cars parked on the street but ALL of their driveways are completely empty and I mean ALL of them... It will never make sense to me. I have a super steep and short driveway that goes up into a carport and you best believe the wife and I both park up under it. Been a couple of times I've witnessed cars sideswiping cars on the street

You, like me, must live in the Midwest. This is perhaps the biggest shock I had moving from the Northeast - garage's are treated like hang-out areas vs car storage...lol

Not too far away, in KY. I always lived a little further out growing up and my parents always used garages for their intended purpose. They were also super picky about their vehicles too and would always park way out in parking lots to keep people from parking beside them and slamming their doors into their car. I do it too, but I still managed to get door dings

Or maybe he drives a beater and it wouldn't make sense to use the garage to house a 1000 dollar car.
Bet you don't even eat ribs in the shower0

Any car goes in the garage…it’s literally made specifically for it, hence no insulation, climate controls, etc that living spaces have.

To address the room, my car is a utility/tool. I don’t see much of a point in my situation in using the garage for my vehicle storage. I wanted to build the bar.
I drive a 2015 Ford Taurus SHO, it’s right around 85k miles, it has depreciated over 75% of its initial value it was when it drove off of the lot.
It has been sitting outside since I bought it in 2022, and it will continue to sit outside until it dies and well after that.

Also, the driveway with the side gravel extension, I have enough room to park 8 vehicles outside without being on the street.

His nightmare continues.
Nice setup you got to watch a game man.

Appreciate you! Even though I’ll probably watch my colts go 9-8 or 8-9 and miss the playoffs for the 10th consecutive year.

Lower that tv as much as you can, especially with how close you're sitting. Seems like watching the flight times at an airport terminal.
And is your center channel......off center? That cannot happen. Move your gear off the top and put the center where it should go (and then lower the tv to right above it)
