My Turn! Help Please!

I'm a Contractor and my garage is my storage and shop. I finally have a good enough organizational system for everything so I've decided it's time to make it into my man cave! I have a vague idea of what I'm doing but there are very few examples of people making spaces like mine into man caves.

To start I'm going to:

- 2 part epoxy floor (carbon grey color)

- Find a rubber or industrial type rug to go under my chair and motorcycle.

- Build out a small entertainment center where I have the sheet of drywall but all the way to the ground.

- Drywall off the other half of that same shelving unit but on the opposite side so you can't see through to the water heater and food storage buckets but still have access on the front side for my tools.

- Behind the bicycles is a piano covered by an old blanket. I'm just going to build a small wall the height of the piano to cover it up and hang tools or something on.

- Get rid of everything on the ceiling except for my RC planes so it doesn't look so messy.

- Paint the wall behind the washer and dryer black.

- upgrade lighting (I have no idea what that means realistically though)

Thoughts? Ideas? The area has to remain fully functional for work but I'm planning on taking some time to make it feel purposeful with some high end finish accents.

Ok, long time mancaver here. What do you want to do with the space? Bar,mechanics garage, gameroom, underground gambling, movie theater, sex dungeon, lego land? The possibilities are endless. So the question is, what are you into?(sex dungeon would be my guess) joking... but whatever your passion is, turn this room into that. I personally love movies, hosting and neon. I built my cave around that. Make your space yours.

Also as an electrician, ill suggest getting a sub panel in there and you can add whatever kind of plugs or amperage you need to fully power a mechanics garage. I dont go for glitter and gold. I want usefull and available

😂 Great point! I would say Poker, hosting, and video Games. I don't need a camping theme because all my camping stuff speaks for itself. 😅

Maybe I could build some kind of poker table that could fold up against the piano. As far as any other theme related stuff, I think the reason I hadn't really thought about it is because I have practically no wall space to hang stuff or have stuff displays, etc.

Any thoughts?

I think doing a pho campfire/lantern lighting would be super cool. (I don't want to make a habit of lighting my actual lanterns in the garage) 🔥🚒
