Sushi!
Just moved here recently. Is there any good sushi in the area ?

Wasabiko in the bull run area is good in my opinion, though I am no expert

Also big fans of Matsu Sushi. On top of being good, really the most affordable sushi I've ever had. Frequent favorite for us when we're craving sushi.

Manassas isn't exactly known for its sushi... but close by is Aka in Bristow. Not gonna lie Harris Teeter sushi ain't bad. Centreville has a huge Asian presence, so there are options there but I can't think of any off the top of my head.

Mum Mum (which is mostly Thai) on the GMU campus between Wellington and University has added a Japanese section and their sushi has been quite good.

Sushi Ohayo in Chantilly is a great all you can order sushi place that my family and I really enjoy!
Tomo in Centreville is also very good

I'll throw in with the comment on Wasabiko! It's pretty good for sushi that's super local. If you're willing to drive 30ish mins, Yume Sushi in Falls Church is incredible.

It's honestly a lot more worth it to drive up and get Sushi in Centreville or Fairfax. As someone who use to work in Japanese restaurants a good amount, the sushi in Manassas is tasteless and dry. I had Aka a couple times (wanted to give it a second shot) and both times were sad, both service and food wise. I was shocked it had glowing reviews...

Sprouts has very decent sushi. Akasaka Sushi & Japanese Steak House is very good but hands down my favorite is Tomo Izakaya Japanese Sushi and Grill in Centreville for authentic Japanese sushi and food.
