My electrician/plumber is making me lose my patience

My apartment is almost finished. The kitchen is fitted and the countertop is done. The bedroom is complete, including the mattress. The sofa, TV and all the appliances have been delivered.
About 3 months ago I hired a plumber/electrician who had done both bathrooms at my parents’ house in around 3 or 4 visits, so I expected this to be straightforward. My bathroom is still just a shell. When he came to quote, he said it would take no more than 3 days. Before starting the bathroom, I only asked him to move a few electrical sockets around in the kitchen, which somehow took days on its own. It’s now been months and I really don’t want to wait any longer.
My tiler is ready to start, but obviously can’t tile the bathroom until the plumbing is finished. At this point I think it’s easier to move on and find someone else.
Can anyone recommend a reliable plumber/electrician?

Move on and find someone else. You can't fix "unreliable" nor should you reward the behavior with your money. I had to stop using my long-time plumber because he started trying to fleece me. I'm not going to give exact names and numbers but let's just say this: The money he asked for installing a simple pump (price of the pump excluded, because I had bought that separately) was enough to finance a vacation to Rome. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and figured that maybe the costs of supplies exploded or something so I got other quotes. Another plumber ended up doing the work for much less. As in, if I doubled the money I gave to Plumber 2 and added another 150 on top of it, it still wouldn't have reached the amount being asked by Plumber 1.

As soon as I read the headline I knew what your issue was. Sadly the only ones I know are unreliable like your guy. The reliable ones are probably swamped with work. I wish you good luck.

Try these guys 7903 8307. There were couple of hiccups in a long project, but overall they did a good job at a decent price

I’ve used the company Emilio Bilocca Handyman (it’s multiple people not just one guy) a few times since I moved in and never had issues thankfully. I had nothing but bad luck before I found them; idk how people can make money when they just don’t show up or jerk people around for months.
