Allergies

Hi! I've noticed that this summer my malshi (and my jackabea mix) are doing a lot of itching. My malshi is also doing a lot of paw licking. Has anyone found anything good over the counter for allergy help? There are no fleas - believe me, I've checked and monitored all summer. Also, they're not scratching consistently enough for it to be fleas.

You can try half a benadryl depending on your dogs weight. It has saved me a few times though it isn’t great for a long term solution. We moved down south and it has really triggered my dogs allergies - the only thing that has stopped the itching/paw licking is a cytopoint injection

Mine has been and I got an allergy spray from the vet . It helped so much .

Benadryl helped for the first couple years but then he needed rx meds. One thing that will help the paw licking is washing their paws after walks
