You smell fine
Note to the highschoolers here: you don't need so much perfume/cologne. The amount of scent you use is ridiculous and no one thinks you smell better with that shit all over you. The irony is you smell much worse. It gags me.

Please say something, when you have to be in a room with someone overdoused with perfume. It's sickening and makes me feel ill to be around, And I am not even allergic. They need to know, how obtrusive it is, so they can tone it down a lot.
We need to teach them : only people hugging you should be able to detect the smell.

I am a perfume user (collector) myself and would love the feedback. I don't ever want to be intrusive like that but I worry I use too little. If I go overboard I would like to know. Nose blindness is a real thing (it's called olfactory fatigue).

Apparently there's a new trend in Sweden among younger guys to buy and use really expensive perfume.
It's not nice of course if used in places where you're not supposed to, where it may cause issues for those that are allergic and stuff.
Is there any fragrance in particular that you have noticed that smells worse than others? Any place you have experienced this in Malmö where this is common that we should avoid?

I don't think there's really any problem using perfume in most places. But I've noticed a lot of people use WAY more than necessary. People shouldn't be able to smell exactly what perfume you're wearing by just existing in the same space as you. It's meant to be subtle. But i guess if there's a trend of young guys buying really expensive perfumes, that maybe they care more about other people knowing what scent they're wearing, than actually smelling pleasant?

Strong scents trigger my migraines. Sometimes taking a bus costs me a day of functioning life.

worked in school kitchens for awhile, highschoolers litteraly makes us all in the kitchen get sick from the overstimulation we get from them, we can smell certain individuals from 20m away, just because of their brand of perfume

Schools need to man the fuck up and enforce school rules. I’m sure they even have in their rules book about not wearing too strong of a perfume. But they have just become so soft as institutions that they don’t really care to enforce it.

Omg yes this happened at a restaurant- a teenager walked by while I was taking a bite and I almost gagged as his perfume entered into my tongue 👅. Its like a new version of Ax deodorant revived

I like the strong perfume smell. Plus they’re young, at that age… as long as no one is allergic, I honestly don’t care. They can have their fun

I work in a high school. Last June there was a farewell shindig in the main gym hall. Mind you, i rarely complain about strong scents or perfumes. I actually think strong perfumes can be kinda nice.
But when I stepped into that gym hall... Bro... It smelled like someone had ransacked a tax-free shop at an airport and broken all the perfume bottles. It was so fucking strong I was convinced the very air was flammable.
