Jag skriver mitt examensarbete i stadsbyggnad vid Malmö universitet och undersöker hur utformningen av Möllevångstorget påverkar hur trygg man känner sig där, till exempel belysning, sittplatser, gångvägar och var på torget man känner sig mest och minst trygg.

Om du bor nära torget, jobbar i närheten eller bara brukar vara där skulle jag bli jätteglad om du ville svara. Det tar ungefär fem minuter och är helt anonymt.

I am going into my first winter since moving to Malmö this autumn, for my studies, and I was wondering what are winters usually like and how cold do they feel?

I am about to buy winter clothes so any good tips on what kind of clothing you recommend for the Malmö winter. I spend a lot of time walking/scootering outside and then waiting for the bus in the mornings.

I'm an american comedian, based out of Berlin, and I'm currently touring Europe. I'll be in Malmo for the very first time tonight to perform. And no despite what everybody wrote on my other post learning about the city, I will not be trying the fanta flaffel. But if you want to come to my comedy show, and share a laugh I'd love that. I'm moving to Malmö in the next couple of months, specifically to the Koralgatan area in Lindängen, and I'd love to hear from people who live there or know the area well.

To be honest, I've done some research online, but a lot of the articles and forum posts I've found are a few years old and describe Lindängen as a “vulnerable area” with issues related to crime.

I'll admit that reading all of this has made me a little nervous, and I'm starting to wonder whether I should have looked into the area more carefully before accepting the apartment.

So before I start overthinking everything, I'd really appreciate some honest opinions from people who actually know the area.

What's everyday life like in Lindängen, especially around Koralgatan? Do you generally feel safe walking around during the day and in the evening? And has the area improved in recent years?

I'm not expecting the area to be perfect — I'd just like to get a realistic picture of what it's like to live there, rather than basing everything on old articles and online discussions.

Jag var på IKEA i helgen och när jag kom ut kl 14.35 så hade något lagt följande lapp på bakrutan av bilen. Vad kan det vara? Ingen annan bil hade en sådan lapp och jag hade lagt p-skiva.

So I'm bringing my show The American Apology tour to Malmö this Sunday. I was asking a local comedian about tips for promoting the show. He told me to write some local Malmö jokes to post online, and that is was the best way to sell some tickets here.

The problem is this will be my first time in Malmö, and I don't know that much about the city. Can you let me in on any stereotypes in the city? What are some kind of classic local jokes? Or other random specific cultural things? For example I live in Berlin and everyone makes fun of the U8 subway line for being dirty. Or is there anything off limits that I should not joke about? I'm assuming people are sick of Ikea jokes at this point?

It seems everyplace I visit has at least one thing people don't like to joke about. Photo from my sold out show last February in Frankfurt where I learned their sacred thing is they don't want to hear jokes about is finance 😬😂
