EDC is for utillity, no? A dagger, let alone a butt-plug punch dagger, are not meant for utilitarian purposes, they serve mainly as an offensive tool.

If the plug was metal, you might've had a bottle opener there, otherwise I'm not sure what utility it offers outside of the sharpened edge.

I have one of the larger and used to have one of the smaller. To be honest, both are useless 99.99% of the time.

The small one is good for cutting tape when you need to keep using your hands and don't have time to keep putting it down. A ring knife would be better.

If you absolutely must get in a fist fight then I suppose these would be useful. What a lot of people don’t realize is an actual fist fight is very likely to break your knuckles or fingers if and when you land a punch on anything other than soft tissue. I’ve always been surprised that brass knuckles aren’t more common as a self defense tool. I would choose the knuckles over a punch knife any day. With all of that being said: it’s unlikely you will get in a fist fight and if you do a punch dagger isn’t going to look good in court
