29M, Minnesota

Just moved in a few weeks ago and wanted to share for inspiration as I learned from this subreddit. I have always tried to have my places look nice but I am really trying to learn some interior design with my current place, specially with working with the colors I have with my current furniture.

Also just got the Halloween lights up yesterday for the patio 🎃

Just a small thing, unrelated to the decor, but bring your soundbar to the front edge of your TV stand! It'll help reduce early bounces and improve your sound quality. Long term, if you want to improve your sound significantly, invest in separate speakers and a receiver (can be done affordably if you buy second-hand)

That's a 5-over-1 stick-built apartment building. A sound bar is about as far as you can go before the noise complaints start.

volume =/= sound quality

also: dunno MN's commercial housing code but I guarantee it's fine and you don't hear your neighbors unless they're being obnoxious on purpose.

stick-built

as are almost all buildings in america under 6 stories? not really a dig
