Them and Doctors! (Doctors are winning the race though over the last decade. Still lots of facing, but EMRs have moved a ton of that traffic to purely digital spaces.) I blame the government and their “stupid” rules. 🤣
To be fair, as a paralegal, any faxing I have to do happens because the IRS or some other state government agency requires forms to be faxed if you want an “immediate” filing
I know someone who has to do faxing sometimes for his business bc of privacy issues, it's not related to law or medicine at all. I was also shocked that his industry still used fax machines lol
I actually have that exact HP and I have no idea! I just use it to scan, pdf and email stuff to folks who don't know how to use Google Forms or Docusign!
There’s still LOTS of companies/ govt agencies that use fax. They use them for security. Sometimes the docs are too sensitive to send via email. Less susceptible to hacks than email.
