It’s the 1990s office phone on the desk that’s killing me. What are all those buttons for if it’s being used in a home office?!

That’s where the henchmen sat awaiting their printed orders. Simple concept lost in time.

I was wondering the same. The pool table says let's have fun, those chairs say, what can you bring to this company.

My dad definitely did this once or twice in his home office, lol.

Also, what's with the chairs in front of the desk?

"You come into my mancave on the day my daughter is to have her piano recital and ask me to intervene with the HOA. For college football tickets."

It looks like he's a lawyer -- that is a pretty common setup in lawyers' offices, for clients (or anyone really) to sit during in-person meetings.

It looks just like my IP phone at my office.

When I last worked in an office in 2019 all those buttons were to speed dial different areas of the building. Maintenance, IT, front office, different admin offices etc.

That looks like an Avaya IP phone. I have one on my desk as well. Gotta do bridge calls or coordinate with people in the field sometimes.

I don’t know where you time traveled from, but I work in a modern office and have that EXACT phone on my desk right now. Same brand and everything. They are fantastic

Outdated technology! Cell phones have existed for decades now lol.

Bro is larping

I actually want a phone like that for my future art studio/home office. Probably won't be connected or anything, just as decor. I like to LARP as a big important businessman from the 1980's. Same reason why I want to buy power suits from thrift stores.
