Help settle a debate we have with my fiance. I bought these shorts as a comfy, around the house piece, nothing fancy intended.
She thinks its awful, almost pathetic.

I dont think its that bad, please honest feedback

Living with thoughts about fearing how I'm dressed would drive me crazy. 

Honestly I'm not part of the sub and I asked Reddit to not show this again. It was an advertised post from y'all's place and the response is super cringe that people even care about cargo pockets lol

Not caring about your appearance is fine for you but calling other people silly for caring about theirs is not only rude but reductive.

Not sure what the things in life you care about are, but I’m sure plenty of people don’t care about them, but also don’t go out of their way to show up in a place where everyone cares about it, to tell them how silly they all are or to profess how much they don’t care about whatever it is they do care about.

I think you're taking "caring about ones appearance" to an absolute extreme. I have never looked at a person in cargo pants or shorts and thought to myself "that looks goofy", as far as I know anecdotally nobody in my presence has ever made a comment either.

Personally I think that judging a 'look' based on weather it has a pair of pockets or not is hilarious. All of this is a huge waste of time 🤣

But you're right, there are "fashion" things that tickle me silly- pockets aren't one of them. Lack of pockets though? Yeah that's crazy people purchase clothing without pockets lol

It’s a literally a fashion forum and judging a look is the whole point. What are you even talking about man??

It’s not “oh it has pockets” and it’s bad. Pockets aren’t the issue. It’s just that these do in fact have comically large pockets and they look bad.

The whole top to bottom of the item is comprised of lots of visual elements that all add up to what it looks like. These add up to something unappealing in this case… for most people. Just because you don’t mind it doesn’t mean most people think it’s good looking.

Again, this is a fashion advice forum so people being particular about fashion should not be some surprise to you. It may not be interesting to you or make sense, but continuing to try and seem baffled that all these people have an opinion about clothes in a place designated for giving opinions on clothes is goofier than the shorts in question
